One day to go.... Hobbycrafts at the SECC!! Excited.com!

Well, it's been a busy couple of weeks here! I made a load of Mother's Day Cards and still have most of them left! lol Not been pushing the sales recently, just being crafty for the fun of it! I finally made a card for my own mum's mother's day and posted that today - its the first card up this afternoon!

I've also been busy getting a shopping list together for the Hobbycrafts Craft Fair at the SECC in Glasgow which runs this weekend - i'll be there on Friday with my aunt and sister-in-law - I have my purse with Craftwork Cards discount voucher, some pennies and my shopping list ready to go! Packed lunch and bottle of water in the fridge and an early pick up in the morning! Hoping for lots of goodies and lots of inspiration too!

This and the birthday card that follows, have been made using mainly Craftwork Cards products: the Bohemian papers - both plain and glittered - and mini lilac boho blooms. 'Mum' has been stamped using Craftwork Cards stamps and the white scalloped detailing are also from CWC - these and the edges have been coloured with a Dusty Concord Distress Ink Pad by Tim Holtz. The 'Happy Mother's Day' is a stamp from Personal Impressions.

This next card is a Birthday card i've made for one of my best friends and i'm really hoping she'll like it! Again its all CWC products and the stamping and sentiments are theirs also.

Here's a close up of the mini blooms - i've added some twisty tendrils here which were inspired by Marie Chillmaid of the Craftwork Cards design team!

My final project for you today is a wee bit different!
I was sitting at my crafty table last night, uninspired until i spotted my stash of Gojuss die cut decoupage and toppers and figured i should do something with them... but what!!

So I made a tag! I keep seeing lots of versions of the Tim Holtz tags but, other than the ink pads and couple of stamps, i dont have a lot of Tim's stuff so haven't been doing them myself. I felt that the wee Gorjuss Girl i found last night lent herself to a distressed tag so here goes!

I used Craftwork cards Shabby Vintage background paper, candi and stamps, some black and white ribbon from Meiflower, and some gorjuss stripey paper. Old Paper and Vintage Photo distress inks were the colours i've used too.

I think i've done ok for my first Tag attempt! What do you think?!
