Today I have my last project for Love to Create Challenge Blog. I will be sorry to leave this team, the ladies are fabulous and so much talent involved. I wish the team the very best for the future and I will be by now and then to enter the challenges myself now!!
Ok, I am Scottish, we love our Tartan and this week that's what we want to see at Love to Create! Get your plaid papers out and create something for our challenge. I have used the 'Ambrose Dunderton' image from Dr Digi's House of Stamps and coloured him with promarkers for this card. I gave him tartan slippers and then couldn't find my matching tartan paper! Anyway, I have used papers from the Fancy Pants Designs 'Little Sport' paper pad and layered them up on a scalloped card blank. I have kept this plain but will add a sentiment once I have a recipient.

Pearls and PolkaDots at Love to Create
Oh dear, a bit late with this one, but better late than never I suppose! We have a new challenge at Love to Create, sponsored by 'MilkCoffee' and the theme is 'Pearls and Polka Dots'.
I have used the 'Tiffany in Wonderland' image, coloured with Promarkers and mounted onto blue Colour Core-dinations. I've added a sentiment from Craftwork Cards, pearls and white bow to finish and the spotty paper is from the bottom of a huge stash!
Thanks for looking!

Inspired by a Song/Movie/Book at Love to Create
Let your favourite song or movie or book inspire you this week at Love to Create! I was so inspired I made two projects to show you today! We are sponsored by The Stamping Chef and I had the pleasure of working with the image 'Jolene' - I had a bit of a brain freeze when picking an image to work with for this challenge and when I saw 'Jolene' I immediately got the song of the same name stuck in my head so that's the inspiration for that card. However, on eventually getting that song out my head, I made a card using 'Bite Me' based on the Rob Zombie track 'Living Dead Girl' or indeed any of the GOOD vampire movies... none of these sparkly vampires for me!!!
So, this is 'Bite Me' which I've coloured with Promarkers to match the brand new Graphic 45 papers 'An Eerie Tale' - this is like to feature heavily in my projects the next few months leading up to Halloween - it's slowly becoming my new favourite after Steampunk Spells! I have used tags and elements from the papers to layer up and added some black die cuts to stand out against the purple pearlescent paper I've used for layering.
And this is Jolene, also coloured with Promarkers. I have used a Kraft card blank and some more Craftwork Cards embossed kraft card for layering. The papers are from Prima's 'Believe' paper pad and I have added some faux stitching - again I got myself confused with this card and thought I was making it for a challenge elsewhere... hence the faux stitching!
I will enter 'Bite Me' into the following challenges -
The Crafter's Cafe Challenge Blog - Lots of Layers
Eureka Stamps - Things With Wings (bats!)
Stamp and Create - Anything Goes
Stamplorations - Stamps and Die Cuts
I will enter 'Jolene' into the following challenges -
That Craft Place Challenge - Autumn
My Craft Creations - Anything Goes
Crafting from the Heart - #31 Anything Goes
Hey, I got there in the end and two cards for the price of one today! Hope you can join our challenge this week!

Anything Goes at Love to Create
Good morning folks! Well, I had my Carpal Tunnel surgery on Thursday of last week and so I'm writing this in advance of Monday! I'm hoping you all have a great weekend and hoping to that I am on the mend!
Today is a new challenge at Love to Create and the theme is one I know you'll love - Anything Goes!
Our fabulous sponsor this week is Kenny K and I have used the 'Lady Raven' image, coloured her with Promarkers and teamed her up with a fab sentiment from Gingers House. The purple paper is from Nikki Sivil's Boo-tiful paper pad and the skull doilies were an eBay find! The butterflies are from Cheery Lynn.
I am entering this at the current Kenny K challenge 'Anything Goes: Twist Music' - I know it doesn't look musical, but this image reminds me of Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights at The Cathouse Rock Club in Glasgow as a teen and the best boots I ever owned that looked not unlike hers!

Challenge #126 at Love to Create
Time for a new challenge at Love to Create and this week we are sponsored by QKR Stampede. The theme is Summer Lovin! I have chosen a cute rag doll type image... eating an ice cream cone of course! I have coloured her with Promarkers and mounted her on NitWit Collection papers from Lily of the Valley. The die cut Picture Wheel is Tim Holtz for Sizzix Alterations - cut from the same set of papers. I've finished the card with baby blue organza ribbon and pink card candi.

Challenge #123 at Love to Create
Morning lovely folks! Today is the start of another new challenge at Love to Create. This week it's up to you... to a certain extent! Do you prefer Fussy and Fancy or Clean and Layered - those are your options and other than that, it's up to you! I have gone for Clean and Layered and used an image from Art by MiRan who is our sponsor this week.
I have coloured the image with promarkers and cut her to size, mounting her on lilac card. The gingham background paper is from Craftwork Cards as is the sentiment. I've not used any 3D foam to keep the card nice and flat and tried very hard not to add candi or other embellishments to keep it clean!
I will enter this card in the following challenges:

Use 3 or More Designer Papers at Love to Create
A Day for Daisies are the fabulous sponsor for the new challenge this week at Love to Create. I had the pleasure of working with an image called 'Favourite Boots Ever'! Our challenge theme this week is to Use 3 or More Designer Papers - so you could make a card or indeed another papercraft project as long as you have 3 or more papers on there.
I have coloured my image with Promarkers and inked the edges with Fired Brick and Black Soot Distress Ink. The edges were distressed further using a distressing tool. I have used burgandy papers from Do Crafts 'Gorjuss' range - both the recent release and one from the first set of papers. These have been distressed and layered. The Spellbinders beaded circle dies add a bit of interest to the background and I have finished with a couple of tags and some black self adhesive pearls.

Colour Challenge at Love to Create
We have a colour challenge for you this week at Love to Create! Now, I saw the colours and thought.... oh dear, what do I do with them.... and then I somehow made them Halloweeny!!! haha
The colours are Navy, Orange, Lemon and Lime - now you can do whatever you wish with this as long as you use the colours. We are sponsored by Bugaboo Stamps and Dr Digi's House of Stamps.
I had the joy of working with the Skelekinz Balloon image from Bugaboo and coloured her with Promakers. My background papers are from the Bo Bunny Fright Delight paper pad - lots of orange, lime green and lemon colours on the sugar skulls. The papers I used for matting are orange and a kind of navy blue pearlescent and I've edged the card with Faded Denim Distress Ink. The sentiment is a Lily of the Valley stamp. I finished the card with lemon candi and some glossy accents to make the balloon shiny!

Sketch Challenge at Love to Create
What a sunny Monday morning, almost makes it a Happy Monday! We have a sketch for you to play with this week at Love to Create challenge blog. We have three sponsors this week and I have used an image from StampArt Design by Kathryne.
This is the sketch and I am not great at thinking outside the box when it comes to a sketch so my card is pretty much identical to it! I dont have a circle die but do have the Spellbinders beaded circles so have used that for my centre, adding pink card candi and Craftwork Cards mini pink bohemian layered flowers. The papers are from a magazine freebie and the sentiment is also Craftwork Cards.
I hope you will have a go with this week's sketch, we'd love to see what you do with it!

Friendship Challenge at Love to Create
Time for a new challenge at Love to Create today and the theme is 'Friendship'. We are sponsored by Stitchy Bear Stamps who supply a vast range of digital images and papers. They also carry images from other designers including some of my favourites. I've used a 6x6 scalloped square card, tinting the edges with Fired Brick Distress Ink and layering up black pearlescent paper with some DP. The spotty paper was DCWV and black and white but I coloured it with the same DI. The top patterned card is Kanban. I coloured the image with Promarkers in Cool Greys and Black. The sentiment was printed from the pc and die cut.
