November Anything Goes with Crafting By Designs

Apologies for my last post! We have a brand new Anything Goes challenge set up for November at Crafting By Designs. I have used the Sassy Ghost image from Sassy Studio Designs and coloured her with promarkers giving her a post Halloween grey skin tone!
She has a pretty dress and I've matched this with some First Edition papers and a sentiment stamp which may or may not be Martha Stewart!
Thanks for looking!

Open Minded Crafting Fun - Vacation Themed Challenge

I am loving being on the team at Open-Minded Crafting Fun Challenges! The ladies are all fabulous and so inspirational! This is my second creation for the team and this fortnight we are sponsored by Art by MiRan, Beansie Doodle, Digital Delights, Ike's Art and Sassy Studio Designs. The theme is 'Vacation Related'.

I have used the Sassy Studio Designs image 'Beach Resort Sassy' and coloured her with Promarkers. The papers I've used are from the Fancy Pants Beach Babe 6x6 pad and I used a Spellbinders floral oval to mount her on after fussy cutting the image. I used the Cheery Lynn Fanciful Flourish and XCut Petal Posy to make a funky floral flourish for the left side of the card. I will add a sentiment once I have a recipient for this one.

I will enter this in the following challenges:
A Creative Need - Vacation/Travel
Crafty Catz - #241 Anything Goes
QKR Stampede - #98 Swimming (She has her cossie on!)
Sister Act Card Challenge - #67 Anything Goes

Ribbons and/or Flowers at Left of Center

It's time for team B to show you their inspiration for the Ribbons and/or Flowers challenge at Left of Center this fortnight! You have another full week to get your entries in for a chance to win images from Sassy Studio Designs.
I have used Sassy Witch and coloured her with Promarkers. I added the Spellbinders spiderweb die, some stamps from My Mind's Eye and orange polka dot ribbon. The background is orange card, stenciled with versamark ink through a circle stencil. This was then heat embossed with clear powder, and the card then sprayed with purple dylusions spray.
I hope you'll join our challenge!

A Card Recipe at Love to Create

I cannot believe it is March already! Hopefully we are all heading into warmer weather and a brighter spring. We have a 'Recipe' challenge for you at Love to Create this week.
1 Ribbon
2 Paper
3 Gems/pearls

And we have a fabulous sponsor in the shape of Sassy Studio Designs. I had the joy of working with the 'Jack and Sally Honey' image and have gone with black and orange tones for a Halloweeny feel - never too early for Halloween! My papers are from Pebbles 'Thirty One' paper pad and I have followed a sketch from the Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2 blog for my inspiration. My image is coloured with Promarkers and the papers mounted on black card. I've finished it with a black organza ribbon and some sticky black pearls.
I hope you can join our challenge this week.

Blue with bling Challenge at Love to Create

This week's challenge at Love to Create is being sponsored by the fabulous Sassy Studio Designs and the theme is 'Blue with Bling'. I chose the Smurfette Sassy.... cos she's blue!

I used my X-cut parenthesis dies to mat the image, a border punch down the side and a sentiment from Craftwork Cards. The image is coloured with promarkers and StarDust Stickles and to finish I used strips of diamantes and a blue and white flower combo.

Quick and easy and very much rushed this week! It's back to school tomorrow so hopefully back into routine and I will get ahead of the game again! Thanks for looking!

Christmas Challenge Time at Left of Center - and some news!

It is with mixed feelings that I am here this morning! I have been on the DT for Left of Center for a few months now and due to some personal circumstances our DT co-ordinator, Lorraine, has had to step down and hand over to someone else.... That someone is Me!! I am so excited to be able to gain experience running a challenge blog but hate to see Lorraine having to bow out for the time being. I just hope I can do it justice and thank you to Lorraine for having faith in me!!

So it is time for a new challenge there this morning, Challenge #21 and the theme is Christmas!
We have a fabulous sponsor in the shape of Sassy Studio Designs and I had the pleasure of using the Elvira Sassy image... yes for a Christmas card!!

I've coloured her with promarkers - I'm getting used to the fine nibs, wish I'd had these before now! I have layered her up with purple and black pearlescent papers and designer papers from Bo Bunny's Fright Delight Halloween type pad! I've finished the card with some white flourishes and snowflakes using dies from Robert Addams and Die-Namics. Some Paprika and Platinum stickles give it a bit of sparkle and the sentiment is handwritten!

I hope you will join us at Left of Center for my first challenge as co-ordinator! We have a new linky tool too so you can see the other entries when you join!

We also have a DT Call open till December 27th and would love to hear from you if you are interested in joining our team and working with a great group of crafters and some fantastic sponsors! You can find the DT Call here

White on White at Crafting by Designs

This week at Crafting by Designs we are sponsored by the lovely Sassy Studio Designs and our theme is White on White! I know - very similar to my post on Monday for Love to Create!
So this time I've used the Santa Pin up and ots of flower and swirl dies and some white card embossed with the Swiss Dots embossing folder. My image is coloured with Promarkers and star dust stickles on the white bits of the santa suit! The sentiment is a section from a border embossing folder that came free with a recent magazine.

I'm thinking this is better than my effort on Monday and hoping that my colouring is getting better too - waiting on the postman bringing me more Promarkers so I can expand my colour palatte!
Thanks for looking!
Hope you'll join the challenge!

Love to Create with Sassy Studio Designs

Wow, December is going so quickly and today is my birthday! Another year older, and far more tired than I've been in a long time! Anyway, time for a new challenge at Love to Create - and this was definitely a challenge for me! White on White with a Splash of Green is brief and the Sassy Snowman Pinup was my image - this week's sponsor is the fabulous Sassy Studio Designs.

I've coloured her with promarkers, keeping her outfit white by highlighting the shadows with a bit of grey and adding lots of Star Dust Stickles. I've mounted her on green pearlescent paper and some white embossed card along with a strip of white embossed sentiments along the bottom - I've highlighted the 'Christmas Wishes' just using a green ink pad and my finer tip, not the neatest but I quite like it. I've finished the card with some of last years limited edition Snowflake patterned candi and a white organza bow.

Thanks for looking! I hope you'll find the time to join us this week for a chance to win a prize from our sponsor.

Sketch Challenge #92 at Love To Create

Happy Monday Morning Folks! Another week closer to Christmas - less than 6 to go!! How scary is that!?
Anyway, to get you going today we have a Sketch Challenge at Love to Create and three amazing sponsors! I have had joy of working with Stamping Chef 'Speak no Evil' image - a Day of the Dead inspired Sassy and it was a great excuse to get some of my halloween papers back out, not that they ever really go away!

Here is the sketch if you want to play along!

I'm afraid when it comes to sketches... I am very much a 'exactly' type person! I try to add wee extras but pretty much the sketch is what you get! So here is my card. I've gone with a 6x6" square to change it up slightly! The image is coloured with promarkers and some Platinum Stickles. The sentiment and candi are Craftwork Cards and the papers are Echo Park's Apothecary Emporium.

Thanks for joining me this morning, why not pop over to Love to Create and see what the rest of the team have made for you today!

Anything Goes with Sassy Design Studio at Crafting By Designs

Hi folks! We have another round of 'Anything Goes' this week at Crafting by Designs and we have fabulous sponsorship in the shape of Sassy Studio Designs. This means that I got to play with one of my favourite Sassy's - Princess Leia! My hubby and son are walking encyclopedias when it comes to all things Star Wars and my 3 year old is following suit although he much prefers the Angry Bird Star Wars to the real thing!

Anyway, I showed hubby the image and he informed me that she her dress is White, her tights are white and her boots ..... are white! So I got out my Cool Grey 1 and a blender pen and added some shadows to the white paper! The image is coloured with Promarkers and the papers are from a monochrome pad I bought in The Works in a bargain bin.

I have followed a Sketch from 'Sketch N Stash' and will be entering the card into the current challenge there.

I will also be entering her into the following challenges -
ABC Challenges - 3 or more patterned papers
Stamp and Create - Birthdays
Tammy's Scrapin Corner - Monochromatic
