Welcome to Day #22 of 31 Days of Halloween! I hope are enjoying the hop! You can find the blog roll in my side bar. Your first stop on the hop is Terra, you should have come to me from Lyneen, and your next stop is Rebecca. Remember to comment on all the blogs on
the hop for a chance to win at the end of the month and keep in mind the
Scavenger Hunt for daily prizes!
Today would be the start of a new challenge at A Step in the Dark sponsored by Ike's Art and Smeared Ink, however, with life being as it is, the decision has been made by the management to temporarily close the challenge, hopefully we will return in the new year.
For my project today, I have used the pre-coloured 'Face-Off' image from Ike's Art for this first card. My DP is from Graphic 45 Steampunk Spells and An Eerie Tale. I have used the Martha Stewart Drippy Goo punch for the top and bottom borders and the viewfinder is a file by Sarah Hurley at the Silhouette Store. I have finished with a sentiment from Create with TLC and some candi.
Thanks for looking!

Please scroll down if you're looking for my 31 Days of Halloween post! Thanks!
It's time for a new challenge at A Step in the Dark and this fortnight we are sponsored by the amazing Dilly Beans! I love these images and have chosen to use Adrianne's Mask for my card today.
I have coloured her with Promarkers and pencil. The DP is from Bo Bunny's Fright Delight paper pad. The sentiment is from Create with TLC and I've finished with some purple shiny candi and a glittery swirl from my stash.
I will enter this at the following challenges -

Challenge #11 At A Step in the Dark
A second post from me today folks. It's time for another challenge at one of your favourite Dark Themed challenges! Anything Goes #11 is starting today at A Step in the Dark and our Sponsor this time is Lacy Sunshine.
I've used the awesome 'Sadie' image from the store and coloured her in Promarkers and used a black pencil for added depth. The papers are from the Graphic 45 An Eerie Tale paper pack. The sentiment is from Create with TLC. The viewfinder and 31 are Tim Holtz dies and the web border was cut using my cameo.

Take A Step in the Dark!
It's Wednesday, it's September, it's nearly Halloween!!! It's time for another challenge at A Step in the Dark. This fortnight, our sponsor is Delicious Doodles - or Delicious Darkness if you prefer! I have used the 'Angel of Death' image to create a 'Chunky Page'. This is a 4x4 inch work of creativity - I punch to top left corner and have them on a binder ring like a little book.
I have used Promarkers to colour parts of the image and Glossy Accents on the black eye. The image is mounted on purple and black pearlescent papers. The web dye is Cheery Lyn and the gravestones are from Tim Holtz on the edge die. I've finished by edging the whole thing with Black Stickles.

Challenge #9 at A Step in the Dark - Anything Goes/Steampunk
I am loving being on the team at A Step in the Dark! Fabulous teamies, fabulous sponsors and fabulous images and a chance to get my dark side on more often. Today is no exception and this fortnight we have 3 sponsors for you... so I have three projects to show you!!
First up is the first time I have worked with the Oddball Art Co. and hopefully not the last time - the images are just the perfect mix of cute and creepy. I have used the Fairy Bat Girl Image No 69 and coloured her in promarkers. I have used a background paper from an old set by Hot Off the Press and finished the card with some diecuts and a sentiment sticker from Pebbles inc.
I will enter this card in the following challenges -
Oddball Art Co Challenge - Non-Traditional Hair Colours
Little Red Wagon - Girl Power
Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps - Wonderful Wednesday
My next creation uses Jarrod by Rick St Dennis - this is a Steampunk image and that's the optional twist at this new challenge. Again my trusty Promarkers have been used with some Vintage Photo DI to age the background of the image. I have used Graphic 45 Steampunk Spells papers with dies from Tim Holtz and Joy Crafts.
I will enter this card in the following challenges:
7Kids College Fund - Anything Goes with Dies
Simon Says Stamp - Anything Goes
Finally, The Stamping Chef are also sponsoring us this week and I have used a new image called Bungle Bunny. My paper is Authentique (I think!) and I've added Black Soot DI to the image and some die cuts to finish.
I will enter this Stamping Chef card at the following challenges:
The Stamping Chef - #44 Anything Goes
Inky Impressions - #174 Anything Goes
Scrapper's Delights - #30 Anything Goes
Thanks for looking!

A Step in the Dark Challenge #7
Welcome to our latest challenge at A Step in the Dark. This fortnight we are sponsored by Smeared Ink and their fabulous digital images. I was lucky enough to win some images from one of their challenges and chose the selection of 'Keepers' so look out for some more creations from me using these images.
We'd love to see your Anything Goes projects for this challenge - keep in mind we are a dark themed challenge though!
Today I have used 'The First Keeper' and a sentiment from the set. I have coloured with Promarkers and used paper from the Fancy Pants 'Oct 31' paper pad. I have added a die cut bone border and flourish with some tiny sticky gems. I added some Dusty Concord and Black Soot distress inks to the edges too.
I will enter this in the following challenges:
Die Cuttin Divas - #176 Anything Goes
613 Avenue Create - AG with Twist
Smudgy Antics @ Smeared and Smudged - July
2 Cute Ink - #11 Anything Goes
Crafting from the Heart - #29 Anything Goes
Melonheadz - Things with Wings
My Craft Creations - Anything Goes
The Crazy Challenge - Die Cuts and Punches
Try it on Tuesday - Things with Wings

Challenge #6 - A Step in the Dark - Anything Goes/Use Metal
Welcome to another challenge at A Step in the Dark! The theme this time is Anything Goes or 'Use a bit of Metal'. I'm delighted to be showing you a card today made with an image from Ike's Art - our sponsor! This is a special image to me as a very dear friend won it but arranged with the artist to have it gifted to me instead of her! This is Robot 1 and I have coloured her with Promarkers as always! The patterned paper is from Prima and I've layered it with black pearlescent paper and finished the card with silver Candi. The embossed part is aluminium plumbers tape over card. This was embossed with a Tim Holtz Sizzix embossing folder and then some Adirondak Alcohol inks rubbed into it - Lettuce, Aubergine and Meadow.
Thanks for looking and I hope you can join us!

Some Dark news....
I have joined the design team at A Step in the Dark!!! I have been enjoying playing along with the challenges and this dark themed blog is full of some of my most favourite card designers and artists and I just knew I wanted to do more than play along!
So, here I am posting my first card for the new challenge starting today - Anything Goes/Dark Fantasy. Now I was late to the party so I've used an image from my own files for this card - hop on over to the Challenge blog to see what the rest of the team have created!!
The sponsor this fortnight is Aurora Wings and we want to see your Dark Fantasy or Dark themed Anything Goes creations! I have used the Anti-Valentine girl and coloured her with Promarkers. I have used a background paper from Pebbles 'Thirty-One' paper pad and some black and red card. The ribbon is from my stash and the swirl is a Memory Box die. I have used my MS Drippy Goo punch along the bottom of the card and hand written the sentiment!
I will enter this in the following challenges:

A Touch of Purple for A Step in the Dark
Anyone who follows my blog will know that I currently run the Left of Center Creative Challenges blog where we love our alternative crafting although we also welcome mainstream projects. Well, recently a brand new, dark side, alternative crafting challenge began - A Step in the Dark and the work there has been amazing, some stunning projects from the team, including Lisa Tyrell from LOC! Unfortunately time got away from me and I completely missed out on joining in the first challenge, so today sees my second entry for their second challenge!
I have used a fabulous image from The East Wind, Lucy Loo 'Braided Side' - who happen to be sponsoring A Step in the Dark this fortnight. I have coloured her with promarkers and die cut her with a Spellbinders Deckled Rectangle. Distress inks in Dusty Concord and Black Soot are used on the edges of all the papers. The papers are from Kaisercraft's 13th Hour paper pad. I have added the name 'Emma' using the Clarity Stamps Letterbox kit with black Archival ink and Dusty Concord Distress ink to colour.
Rather than making a card, this is actually a 6x6 chipboard wall hanging. I've added black organza ribbon for hanging it. The spider web corners are Cheery Lynn dies and to finish I coated the whole thing in Sparkle Mod Podge.
I will enter this in the following challenges:
A Step in the Dark - Challenge #2 Use Purple/AG
My Craft Creations - Anything Goes
The Crafty Bloggers Network - June Challenge Bingo (Column A)
Digi Makeover Challenge - #143 Anything Goes
All Crafts Challenge - June/July Anything But A Card
Thanks for looking!
