Hearts and Flowers at Left of Center

Good morning! We have a brand new challenge for you at Left of Center starting today and a brand new sponsor! Kenny K is on board this week and the theme is Hearts and Flowers.

I have used a pre-coloured Kenny K image that was a freebie on his website a few months back. I've fussy cut her and mounted on a Spellbinders Floral Oval die cut. The papers are from Do Crafts Gorjuss range and I've added some rolled roses and candi.

Today I'm using the Trixxie Treat image from KennyK Designs. I have coloured her with Promarkers, fussy cut and mounted her on black card. The DP is from Graphic 45 An Eerie Tale 6x6 papers and the sentiment is from Create with TLC. The Halloween corner was cut on my cameo and I've finished with some ribbon and candi from my stash.

Anything Goes at Love to Create

Good morning folks! Well, I had my Carpal Tunnel surgery on Thursday of last week and so I'm writing this in advance of Monday! I'm hoping you all have a great weekend and hoping to that I am on the mend!

Today is a new challenge at Love to Create and the theme is one I know you'll love - Anything Goes!
Our fabulous sponsor this week is Kenny K and I have used the 'Lady Raven' image, coloured her with Promarkers and teamed her up with a fab sentiment from Gingers House. The purple paper is from Nikki Sivil's Boo-tiful paper pad and the skull doilies were an eBay find! The butterflies are from Cheery Lynn.

I am entering this at the current Kenny K challenge 'Anything Goes: Twist Music' - I know it doesn't look musical, but this image reminds me of Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights at The Cathouse Rock Club in Glasgow as a teen and the best boots I ever owned that looked not unlike hers!

Crafting By Designs Challenge Sponsored by Kenny K

Oh it's Wednesday again! And time for a new challenge at Crafting By Designs. This week the theme is 'Ribbon and/or Lace' and we have been sponsored by KennyK with some fabulous images - I was so excited to work with this artist!

I have used the 'Devilish Donna' image and kept her in my favourite grey's and purples - using Promarkers of course. The background papers are Craftwork Cards from a recent Goodybox. The damask was a pearlescent white with silver foiling but I have tinted it with Dusty Concord distress ink using a blender tool and added black soot around the edges. The strips of diamantes were clear but I've used the Aubergine Promarker to colour them.

I'm a bit addicted to the rose flourishes just now! I have added some roses, pins and a seambinding ribbon and bow to the side. I also used black pearlescent paper and a border punch to make a lace effect edge for the sides - so both ribbon and 'paper lace' on this card.

I haven't added a sentiment but will do this when I find a recipient for the card!

Time for a challenge!!

I really hope it's nice and sunny wherever you are reading this right now! As I type (Tuesday afternoon) the sun is shining, I've just gotten in from a four mile walk with the baby and I will shortly hang a washing out to dry in the breeze, a lovely late summer, early autumn day. Now, if you are reading this you will be wondering what the challenge is... Well, I have a new one for you today! I have been asked to join the Crafting By Designs Challenge Blog Design Team! A big Thank You to Doris for accepting me onto the team I hope I can do you proud!

Crafting by Designs is a weekly challenge blog and the new one starts today - Anything Goes. This week we are sponsored by Kenny K and I have the privelege of working with his Happy Hour digi stamp. I have teamed it up with some Craftwork Cards paper, sentiments, flowers and butterflies as well as one of their new 'quilted' Polaroid frames. I coloured the frame using Dusty Concord Distress Ink and added platinum Liquid Pearls as an accent. The image has been coloured with promarkers - not my best colouring but I do love the bold black and purple dress - I want one!
