I hope you have all had a fabulous month whether blogging, hopping or lurking! I am so glad I took the plunge and blogged this year, already looking forward to 2015! Enjoy the final day folks! It's Halloween, it's Friday, it's Smeared Ink day and it's new challenge at LOC day too!! The theme at LOC is Vintage Halloween.
I have used the Hallocutie Zombie Girl for my card, she's coloured with Promarkers and fussy cut. My papers are from MME Lost & Found Halloween 6x6 paper pad and I've used lots of Vintage Photo and Black Soot DI for the edges. The sentiment is from Create with TLC. I've kept the card in those brown tones and distressed some edges for the 'vintage' bit of the challenge - but remember, at LOC, Halloween/Dark Theme is always OK if you dont 'do' vintage!
Enjoy the rest of your Halloween! Here are my youngest - Darth and Sonic - on their way to the nursery party!
Why not check out the LOC DT Call too - we're looking for several new DT and I am thrilled that some of the 31DOH Wicked bloggers have linked up! Click here for more info.

Lucy Loo Bad Ass Attitude!
Time for a new release over at The East Wind today! Another fabulous Lucy Loo, this time with 'Bad Ass Attitude'!
I have coloured her with Promarkers and fussy cut her, layering her then on purple pearlescent paper. I cannot find the sentiment on my folders again so not entirely sure where that came from but I love it! I finished with a bit of ribbon stapled onto the card.
The background is made using Dylusions spray inks... but without spraying them! I came across this technique on Day 14 of the 31 Days of Halloween over on Creepy Glowbugg's blog here! She referenced this link so I had to go see it for myself!! I used 3 different colours, swirled them and got a bit messier with it!

Simply Betty Stamps 13 Days of Halloween - Howling at the Mooon
If you're looking for 31 Days of Halloween Day #30 - CLICK HERE!
Today's challenge for the 13 Days of Halloween with Simply Betty Stamps: Make it hairy, use fuzz, feathers, anything fuzzy on your projects! I have used the Big Bad Wolf Chris image and coloured him with Promarkers. The sentiment is the matching one that comes with the image.
I have used a kraft card base and added brown torn mulberry paper for the background - I thought that looked kinda furry! The DP is MME and the rosette and border punch are Martha Stewart. I have kept this quite simple as it's so late and I have to get to bed ready for Halloween!!!

Today I have two cards to share with you, both with images from Simply Betty Stamps - and both were freebies! This first one is from the Simply Betty Fan Page on Facebook. Why not join us there for SBS fun and frolics, sneak peaks and freebies! This image is Demonic Babe and I've chosen her dark side to share here (although I've not used the matching sentiment).
I've coloured her with Promarkers and fussy cut her out. The papers are from Bo Bunny's Fright Delight 6x6 pad and I've added ribbon from my stash. The layout is from TechnoStamper's Sketch Challenge #338 and I'll be entering the card into their challenge.
This next image was a freebie from Kit and Clowder on Facebook, her name is Day of the Dead Alex. Again I have coloured her with Promarkers and kept to grey and purple tones with some black in there too.
I have used papers from Nikki Sivil and Martha Stewart. The web corner is Spellbinders. The spiders and grave scene were Silhouette store files and the sentiment is from Create with TLC.

Today we have a new challenge at Crafting by Designs. I am the host for this week's Halloween affair and I would love to see all you 31 DOH hoppers and bloggers joining in the challenge! Thank you to many of you who joined in our 'Boo You Scared Me' challenge a few weeks ago it was great to see so many familiar names on the linky tool! This week's sponsor is Alicia Bel and I have used the Berta Barton image to create a Fat Page!
I have coloured her with Promarkers as always and fussy cut her. The DP is from Kaisercraft's 13th Hour paper pad and the sparkly embellishments are from K&Co. I've kept this simple and flat as it will be the reverse side of the fat page and finished with some ribbons from my stash.

13 Days of Halloween at Simply Betty Stamps - The Witching Hour
If you are looking for 31 Days of Halloween Day #28 - Click HERE!!!
Today's Challenge at Simply Betty Stamps for the 13 Days of Halloween is 'The Witching Hour'. I have used 'Witchy Mrs Roberts' which I won earlier in the month and coloured her with Promarkers. My background papers are from Webster's Pages and the web stamp from Crafty Stampers. The spiders are cut from Silhouette store files on my Cameo. I've finished by adding a sentiment from Create with TLC.
Part of the challenge was to make the witch fly or pop off the project, so I cut a small strip of acetate and glued one end to the image and one to the card so she stands out from the project... she'll wiggle if you flick her!

The papers are from Martha Stewart and the die cut frame is by Sarah Hurley from the Silhouette Studio. The spider is also cut on the Cameo and I've finished with some metallic purple card candi.
This next project is a bookmark for my DT diary and uses image '#420 Sugar Skull Stack'. I have coloured this with promarkers and fussy cut it out. Very simply it's then mounted onto black card then the purple pearlescent card for the base. Some orange and black ribbon finishes it off nicely.

Simply Betty Stamps 13 Days of Halloween 'Sexy and Scary' Challenge
For 31 Days of Halloween Day #24 CLICK HERE!
Today's challenge over at Simply Betty Stamps for the 13 Days of Halloween is to create a 'Sexy and Scary' Halloween themed card. I have invested in a new Betty stamp for this one - Zombie Birthday Betty - and I've used the version with no eyes and a frame. I've printed her twice, fussy cut her out of the frame and added her with glue dots for dimension. I've added a rolled rose cut from the Cameo to her hair rose and finished her with a handwritten sentiment. When colouring her I decided that Blondes have more fun... and in her case, they always will!! hahaha I have used Purple DP from the Gorjuss range by DoCrafts. The web corner is Cheery Lynn and the ribbon is from my stash. This is another 7x7" card.

This project is a 4x4 Chunky Page. I have used a Toxic Ballerina image from Smeared Ink, coloured with promarkers and fussy cut. I think she looks like she's flying here - very much off balance anyway! The teal DP is Graphic 45 Steampunk Spells and I've made many tiny rolled roses cut from the cameo. A quick and simple project...if it did take ages to do the flowers! The punched hole allows this to hang on a binding ring with the others I've made this month.

31 DOH Day #23 - A Monochrome Fat Page!

Today I am sharing a Fat Page that I made for a recent Smeared and Smudged Forum Swap. The brief for this fat page was Monochrome and I've gone with a black and creamy colour scheme - 'Old Paper' was the DI I've used quite a bit!
The papers I've used on both sides are from My Mind's Eye Happy Haunting 6x6 pad. The tabs and 'Spooktacular Night' panel are both from a 12x12 Self Adhesive embellishments sheet from the same Happy Haunting line. On the front page is a stamped image using a red rubber stamp that I received from Black Dragon as part of a prize over at Haunted Design House and I'm not sure who made it. He is bursting out of a Sarah Hurley cut file from the Silhouette store and I've added a couple of skull and cross bones too, also cut on the cameo. The 'Boo' is a Tim Holtz die for Sizzix Alterations.
The washi tape that hides the paper seam on both sides is from Do Crafts Gorjuss range and I've used more of the Silhouette store die cuts on the reverse side. The image here is the 'Alice' digital stamp from Dilly Beans, coloured in grey promarkers. I've used both Old Paper and Black Soot Distress Ink around the edges of the pages and finished the front with some gems for the skull 'eyes'!

Scroll down for 31DOH Day 22 or click here!
This is a super quick post from me for the Simply Betty Stamps 13 days of Halloween Challenge. Today is #8 and the theme is 'Oh the Embossibilities'. I have used a Tim Holtz Halloween word embossing folder on Black Magic Core'dinations, mounted the panel on a card blank inked with Dusty Concord and Black Soot DI. I have used the BellaDonna image from Simply Betty, one of the first I ever bought from her and one of my favs! This was coloured some time ago and in my box of digis ready to go.
The sentiment is from Create with TLC, the ribbon from my stash. The skull and cross bone stickers are Jolee's Boutique and the orange glittered embellies are K&Co. Sorry for bad photo lighting - it's awfy late here!

The background papers are from Craftwork Cards Mistletoe 6x6 pad and I've used a matching sentiment from their Mini Mania die cut pad. I have then finished the card with red and green gold gilded candi - very elegant!

31 DOH Day #22 and A Step in the Dark News
Welcome to Day #22 of 31 Days of Halloween! I hope are enjoying the hop! You can find the blog roll in my side bar. Your first stop on the hop is Terra, you should have come to me from Lyneen, and your next stop is Rebecca. Remember to comment on all the blogs on
the hop for a chance to win at the end of the month and keep in mind the
Scavenger Hunt for daily prizes!
Today would be the start of a new challenge at A Step in the Dark sponsored by Ike's Art and Smeared Ink, however, with life being as it is, the decision has been made by the management to temporarily close the challenge, hopefully we will return in the new year.
For my project today, I have used the pre-coloured 'Face-Off' image from Ike's Art for this first card. My DP is from Graphic 45 Steampunk Spells and An Eerie Tale. I have used the Martha Stewart Drippy Goo punch for the top and bottom borders and the viewfinder is a file by Sarah Hurley at the Silhouette Store. I have finished with a sentiment from Create with TLC and some candi.

Today at Crafting by Designs we have a new Christmas challenge starting with Just Some Lines as our fabulous sponsor. Why not pop over and enter something Christmassy for a chance to win!
I have used the Mistletoe Fairy image and coloured it with Promarkers and fussy cut her before mounting on red card. The DP are from my stash and the die cut is from Memory Box - there's some glitter and tiny gems on this. I've finished the card with red candi and a sentiment from Craftwork Cards.

31 DOH Day #21 - Join Me For a Bite?
Welcome to Day #21 of 31 Days of Halloween! I hope you are enjoying the
festivities! Thank you for all the wonderful comments! You can find the
blog roll in my side bar. Your first stop on the hop is Terra, you should have come to me from Lyneen, and your next stop is Rebecca. Remember to comment on all the blogs on

I have made a quick card today on a 5x5 black card base. The papers are from Jillibean Soup 'Witches Brew' paper pad. The image with sentiment are from Create with TLC and I have coloured this just using distress inks and a blending tool. I've mounted the count on orange pearlescent paper to help define him against what I think look like eyeballs on the paper! The bat rosette is Martha Stewart and I've finished with green Card Candi from Craftwork Cards.

The East Wind Facebook Contest 'Animals'
Good morning! Scroll down for my 31 Days of Halloween Day #20 post, and Day #21 will be here in a few hours! Today sees the start of a new Contest at The East Wind Facebook Group. The theme from now till the 17th of November is 'Animals'. We would love to see your TEW creations using animals - you know Lucy Loo loves her kitty and there are plenty other images in the Etsy shop - links at the bottom of this post.
I have used my promarkers to colour this cute little piggy image in a very basic way - I find this like an image for a child and cartoon like so wanted to reflect that in my colouring. I have kept the card basic too - DP are from Echo Park 'Happy Camper' papers and the sentiment is Craftwork Cards. I've used a Spellbinders die for the mat and lots of olive green distress ink.

31 DOH Day #20 with SCACD
Welcome to Day #20 of 31 Days of Halloween! I hope you are enjoying the
festivities! Thank you for all the wonderful comments! You can find the

Earlier in the month I was the lucky winner of some images from SCACD and I previously used the 'Skull Cupcake' on a fat page on Day #16. Today I am sharing a card made with another of their images - the Gothie Owl. He is so cute, I had to have him! I've coloured him in Promarkers, fussy cut him and mounted him on black card. The DP is from Webster's Pages and the web frame was cut on the cameo. The sparkly sentiment and spiders are from K&CO I believe.

31 DOH Day #19 and SBS 13 Days of Halloween Day #7
Welcome to Day #19 of 31 Days of Halloween! I hope you are enjoying the
hop! You can find the blog roll in my side bar. Your first stop on the

Today I am using an image from Simply Betty Stamps that was a Facebook Fan Page freebie - but only for members of the group and you have to make a project by 8pm tonight! So I have coloured 'Bat Queen Betty' with Promarkers in the colour scheme for the latest 13 Days of Halloween challenge at Simply Betty Stamps Blog! For challenge #7 we have to use 'Traditional Halloween Colours' so Orange, Green, Purple and Black. I have mounted her on black card, the DP is Graphic 45 An Eerie Tale and the rosette is Martha Stewart. This is a 7x7" card - a new one for me, I normally work in 6x6!
