Unusual Christmas at Open-Minded Crafting Fun

We have a new challenge underway at Open-Minded Crafting Fun Challenges. The theme this fortnight is 'Unusual Christmas' and we have a few sponsors for you. A&T Digital Designs, Delicious Doodles, Dilly Beans and Eureka Stamps.
I have used the image #275 Disturbed Snowman Framed by Dilly Beans and coloured him with Promarkers. My DP is from Teresa Collins and I have cut some snowflakes using Silhouette store cut files on my Cameo. The mesh ribbon and black card are from my stash. I've finished with some Paprika Stickles on his carrot nose!

Open-Minded Crafting Fun Challenges - Fowl of All Kinds

Another day... another challenge being sponsored by The East Wind! You would never guess they are one of my favourite digital image companies and I'm delighted to be able to work with their images. I have used the image 'Aurora Turkey' a previous Freebie from The East Wind and coloured her with Promarkers. The papers are from a 12x12 paper pack bought from Lidl supermarket last year and some embossed kraft card from Craftwork Cards. The sentiment is from Create with TLC and I've finished with some twine and a 3D embellishment from my stash.

Open-Minded Crafting Fun Challenge #22 Halloween/Dressing-Up

It's the midway reminder for Challenge #22 at Open-Minded Crafting Fun Challenges. The current theme is 'Halloween' or 'Dressing-Up' if you'd prefer. Our sponsors for this challenge are Crafty Sentiments Designs, Flat Friends Boutique, Scrappers Delights, and The Stamping Boutique.

I've kind of went with a cross between the two. I've used an image from Scrappers Delight, Phantom Dracula, of a wee lad dressed up as Dracula!

He's been coloured with Promarkers, fussy cut and mounted onto a Spellbinder Floral Oval. The DP is from First Edition J'Adore 6x6 paper pad. The bones border was cut on the cameo and the web corner is a Cheery Lyn die.

Before today's creation - here's something I made earlier! Luke will be 3 in a few weeks and here he is sporting a Halloween bucket and 'Mummy's Boy' top from last year! Hoping to get more pics of the kids on here over the month with their costumes etc!

Today is also my midway post for Open-Minded Crafting Fun Challenges. The theme for the rest of the week there is Fall/Autumn - and Autumn says to me.... Halloween! So I've combined the two. I created this around the end of the school year in time for thanking our teachers for their hard work - the challenge does coincide with Labor Day in the US so it still works! Open Minded Crafting Fun - Vacation Themed Challenge

I am loving being on the team at Open-Minded Crafting Fun Challenges! The ladies are all fabulous and so inspirational! This is my second creation for the team and this fortnight we are sponsored by Art by MiRan, Beansie Doodle, Digital Delights, Ike's Art and Sassy Studio Designs. The theme is 'Vacation Related'.

I have used the Sassy Studio Designs image 'Beach Resort Sassy' and coloured her with Promarkers. The papers I've used are from the Fancy Pants Beach Babe 6x6 pad and I used a Spellbinders floral oval to mount her on after fussy cutting the image. I used the Cheery Lynn Fanciful Flourish and XCut Petal Posy to make a funky floral flourish for the left side of the card. I will add a sentiment once I have a recipient for this one.

Water Everywhere at Open-Minded Crafting Fun Challenges

I have used the Steampunk Mermaid image from Delicious Doodles and coloured her with Promarkers. I coloured a 6x6 white card using Peacock Feathers, Salty Ocean and Broken China Distress inks to match the image colours. I edged both the card and image using Black Soot. The sentiment stamps are Paper Smooches stamped in Black Archival Ink. The bubbly background card has been in my stash for approximately 12 years - this is guess based on the fact that my son just turned 13!!! I've finished with some black card Candi from Craftwork Cards.
