Emos Out of the Vault at Simply Betty Stamps

Wow! Looks like spring is finally here - the sun is shining and the flowers are blooming. And we have Emos coming 'Out of the Vault' at Simply Betty Stamps. I have used two of the images to create these cards and coloured them both with Promarkers as always.
This is Art Lovin Betty and her matching sentiment. I have used papers from Forever in Time 'Perfect Prints' paper pads. The die cut corner was made on my Cameo and I've also added a doily and twine from my stash. I've finished the card with Black Onyx Liquid Pearls.
This next image is Math is Confusing Miller and I have matched him up with the Technologique paper pad from Kaisercraft. The die cuts are from the same paper pad. I have used his matching sentiment and finished with Peacock Liquid Pearls.

My DP is from DCWV - the Rockstar Matt Stack. I have added skull washi tape from Stampin' Up and some skull ribbon from my stash. The 'Mardi Gras' Card Candi goes perfectly with the teal/lime colour scheme! The sentiment comes with the image when you purchase it - along with a non-zombie version!

Simply Betty Stamps for Crafting Vicky!

Through crafting I have made friends all over the world with some amazing women. I have a few who are very special to me in one way or another. Crafting Vicky is one of those. We have chatted for hours on end about everything and nothing and helped each other through tough times. She's on the DT at Simply Betty Stamps and we have a wee surprise for her today!
Betty has created this fabulous 'Victorian Vicky' with sentiment to help cheer her through some difficulties and lots of us are making cards with this for her now! I have coloured with Promarkers and used lots of 'Peeled Paint' Distress Ink on my image/sentiment and papers.
My papers are from Papermania. The doilie is Tatty Teddy. The twine and skull are from my stash.
I really hope she likes the card and it will be in the post later this week!
Thanks for looking and thanks for being a friend.

Simplly Betty Stamps Celebrate Erin's Birthday

Hi crafty folks! I have a cute new Simply Betty Stamps image to share with you today. It's called Erin and Hoot and it's in honour of the Birthday of one of our DT Colleagues! Happy Birthday Erin! I hope you like what we've done with the image for you.
I have used the image with the frame (it also comes without the frame) and have coloured it with Promarkers. I have fussy cut inside the frame and around the image and mounted this onto green paper. My DP is from the Berry Blast paper pad by Ki and I fussy cut the edges of one sheet to make a 3D frame, mounted on 3D foam, for the card. I coloured the white of the image with Peeled Paint DI and added Glossy Accents for the eyes. The sentiment comes with the image too.

Simply Betty Stamps Teen Scene Eras 2 New Release

Simply Betty Stamps are releasing a selection of new Teen Scene images today! Eras 2 has some really funky images of teens reminiscing about the past and they are fabulous!! I have had the pleasure of playing with 4 of the new images and hope you like them!

As always my images are coloured with Promarkers and I've added black pencil in areas to add details. The sentiments on each card match the image and come as part of the digi that you would purchase on the SBS Shop.

The papers on this card are from Craftwork Cards Velvet Plum - my current favourite! The flowers are from the matching stamp set and I've used matching Velvet Plum candi with Glossy Accents. The banner is an abstract flourish cut on my Cameo.

The DP on here is from Bo Bunny and I've matched up some candi from Craftwork Cards to embellish this. The corner was also cut on my Cameo.

Like I said, Velvet Plum is my current favourite and this is another of the papers from the pad with pearlescent purple candi. The flowers and corner have been cut on my Cameo. There's some Glossy Accents and Star Dust Stickles to finish the card.

This card also uses papers from Craftwork Cards from the Chocolate Orange Goody Bag available at Christmas. The die cut flowers matched the papers and I've used gold pearl candi too.

Why not check out the Simply Betty Stamps Blog for more fabulous inspiration from the Design Team and a look at more of the images from this release!

Show Your Digi Love First Challenge!

Betty of Simply Betty Stamps recently had a fabulous idea! To set up a challenge blog, just for fun, without sponsors, where we could support and promote some of our favourite Digital Stamps artists. Today is the first challenge at Show Your Digi Love. The winner will be chosen by the Design Team, there will be a badge for your blog, and you will be invited to be a guest designer for the next challenge. We really hope you will embrace this venture and have some fun - I know I am looking forward to using some long forgotten and as yet unused images!

This month the three stamp companies we would like to see you using are Simply Betty StampsMo's Digital Pencil and Make it Crafty.

I have used the Mortician's Daughter image from Simply Betty Stamps for my project this month, colouring her with my usual Promarkers and adding Glossy Accents on her eyes. I have used oval dies from Crafts Too and Floral Oval from Spellbinders. The papers, sentiment and flowers are from Craftwork Cards Velvet Plum collection. The bow was cut using the cameo and a file from the Silhouette Store. I've finished with some glossy accents and Star Dust stickles on the candi, and Purple Liquid Pearls too.
