Today is also the launch of a new challenge at Ike's Art so I've combined my 31DOH Project with 'Trick or Treat' at Ike's World Challenges. I have used the pre-coloured 'Daemon', fussy cut and mounted on black. The background was made with Fired Brick Distress Stain and water spritzed onto a craft mat and a 'print' taken - the 'blood' then allowed to drip and dry! The 'Spooky Night' is a Silhouette Cut File and the web a stamp from Crafty Stamps.

Ike's World Challenges #24 - Think Pink

Good morning! I'll be back again in a couple of hours for today's 31DOH post, hope you can join me then!

For now, we have a new challenge starting today at Ike's World Challenges! The theme for the fortnight is 'Think Pink'. I have used Ike's Awareness image and coloured her with Promarkers and mounted her on black card to stand out. The papers and sentiment are from Craftwork Cards Mini Mania collection. I've finished with some self adhesive black pearls.

Ike's Art New Release Blog Hop

I have used the Zombie Cat, Zombie Frog and Zombie Parrot. I put together the frog card first and printed up the sentiment on the computer.... then released later that the sentiment worked even better with the parrot.... take a look, I hope it makes you chuckle!

My images are all coloured with Promarkers. This Frog card uses papers from Chillingsworth Manor by Echo Park and some Candi to finish.

'The Squawking Dead' card - I giggle every time I think of that! - uses papers from Graphic 45 Steampunk Spells and An Eerie Tale pads. The borders are cut using the Cameo.

And finally the cat card uses paper also from Chillingsworth Manor by Echo Park, the Drippy Goo punch from Martha Stewart and a graveyard scene cut on the Cameo.

Ike's World Challenges #23 - Around the World

Ike's World Challenges new theme for the fortnight is 'Around the World'. We'd love to see your creations taking inspiration from other countries.

I have used the 'Spanish Dancer' from Ike's Art and coloured in her using Promarkers and a black pencil. I fussy cut and mounted her on black card. The papers are from Craftwork Cards brand new 'JukeBox' paper pad and the sentiment and candi are also Craftwork Cards.

Ike's World Challenges #22 Feathered Friends

Morning folks! This post is a bit on the late side but here nonetheless! It's time for a new challenge at Ike's World Challenges - #22 Feathered Friends. Pop over to the blog to see the winners from the last challenge and pick up a 'Freebie' for the new challenge!

I have used the image 'Poe Bust' which has a fabulous Raven on it's head! He's my 'feathered friend' for this project and I've gone Halloween-y with this one.

The papers are from Echo Park's Apothecary Emporium and I've used a sentiment from Create with TLC. I've finished the card with black organza and card candi.

Anything Goes with Ike's World Challenges

Happy Tuesday folks! I am delighted to announce that I am now on the Ike's World Challenges Design Team and am thrilled to bits to be working closely with Ike and her fabulous team! So much talent and friendly familiar faces! We have our first challenge as a new team following the summer break starting today - Anything Goes. In order to win a prize you have to use an image from Ike's Art and there's usually a freebie on the blog if you pop over for a look!

I have used one of my favourite Ike's Art images for this first challenge - Alice. I have coloured her with promarkers and mounted her on black card. The blue DP is from Lily of the Valley and I've embossed some blue core Black Magic Core'dinations. The Embossing folder is 'Tea Party' from Couture Creations. I've finished with a sentiment and candi from Craftwork Cards and white organza bow.
