SLS Lines Challenge #10 - Die Cuts or Punches

Good morning! Challenge #10 is well under way at SLS Lines and our theme this month is 'Use Die Cuts or Punches'. I have used the SLS Lines Mad Hatter image and coloured him with Promarkers.

My layout is taken from the current Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2 challenge. I've used the 'Floral Oval' Spellbinders die, a Sue Wilson flower die and an X-Cut Petal Posey die. My papers are from Graphic 45 and Craftwork Cards and I've finished with teal candi.

Summer Fun at Oddball Art Co

Our new challenge starting today at Oddball Art Co is 'Summer Fun' and I've used image #73 for my card. I've coloured her with promarkers and added Star Dust Stickles to the wings on both the girl and the dragonfly.

I have used papers from Craftwork Cards Scrumptious kit and a sentiment from Create with TLC. My flowers were made from the same papers using a Die'sire quilled flower die from a recent magazine freebie, the tickets under the center panel are the Die-namics Ticket strip.

Extra Inspiration for SLS Lines

I am loving the images over in the SLS Lines Etsy shop and I had to do something with this scary Skull!

I have printed him, covered the teeth with Glossy Accents to give those pearly whites a bright shine. The skull I've used some Tim Holtz Distress Inks on foam applicators to colour him. The 'firey' parts, I've used my Burnt Orange Promarker.

The DP is from my current favourite DCWV Eek-A-Boo Stack and the 'What do you fear?' sentiment is from Create with TLC.

Lucy Loo Headwig Image Release at The East Wind

It's new release day at The East Wind! And it's another fabulous Lucy Loo. This one is called 'Headwig' and she is fantastic - she has a Skull in her hair. I have coloured with Promarkers and black pencil, adding black DI to dull the bright white.

One Layer Cards at Crafting By Designs

I am delighted to be involved with this challenge blog! I have been with Crafting By Designs for well over a year now and continue to be challenged and inspired. This week is no exception. The theme is 'One Layer Cards' and this is something very alien to me! I like my layers and some embellishing and a bit of glitter etc so I knew this would be tricky. We have a fabulous sponsor though - Rosey Hearts.

I started out with my image - The Creeps Bunz Outline - and placed him on a 6x6 new panel on Photoshop. I found a sentiment I like from Create with TLC and placed that too beside him on the panel and when I was happy I played around with the settings on both photoshop and my printer setup with lots of blank paper till I worked out exactly how to print it directly onto a 6x6 card blank. So, about 40 minutes after I started I had a card to colour! I am sure there are easier ways, but now that I know it, I will know for next time.

I coloured him with Promarkers and a black Derwent Coloursoft pencil. My only issue being that I did not use the same card for my blank as I usually do for colouring so the paper and pens did not react the same way - something I will need to keep in mind. All in all though, I am very happy with my One Layer, CAS card.

Hearts and Flowers at Left of Center

Good morning! We have a brand new challenge for you at Left of Center starting today and a brand new sponsor! Kenny K is on board this week and the theme is Hearts and Flowers.

I have used a pre-coloured Kenny K image that was a freebie on his website a few months back. I've fussy cut her and mounted on a Spellbinders Floral Oval die cut. The papers are from Do Crafts Gorjuss range and I've added some rolled roses and candi.

Anything Goes for May at Crafting By Designs

Good morning! It's time for a new Anything Goes challenge at Crafting By Designs and we have two fabulous sponsors for you this month! I just couldn't decide so I have made two projects!

The first is using Spooky Flower 3 from Sami Stamps which I have coloured with Promarkers and some black pencil. I fussy cut part of the image and layered it on black and purple card.

The spiderweb DP and embellishments are from my stash and the purple and green paper is from Bo Bunny Fright Delight. I have finished with some purple liquid pearls and a sentiment from Create With TLC.

I have used Witch Framed with Frog from Bugaboo Stamps also coloured her with Promarkers and Pencil too.

I have used paper from the same Bo Bunny Fright Delight paper pack and finished with some Purple Stickles and a sparkly web embellishment.

New Images at Rosey Hearts on Etsy

Time for new release samples and BLOG CANDY over on the Rosey Hearts Blog and today I am sharing with you a funky Halloween themed image. This is Little Sugar and I've coloured her with Promarkers and fussy cut her before mounting on black card.

My DP is from Graphic 45 and I have die cut a 'Trick or Treat' sentiment on my Cameo using a Silhouette store file. The printed sentiment is from Create with TLC. The rosette is Martha Stewart and I've finished with some black self adhesive gems along the bottom.

Fun Frights at Left of Center

'Fun Frights' is the theme this week at Left of Center and our fabulous sponsor this time is A Day for Daisies.

I have used the Spider Cupcake and coloured it with Promarkers. I've added Stickles in Orange, Purple and Black to the cupcake too. My papers are from Bo Bunny's Fright Delight paper pad. The sentiment is from Create with TLC and the ribbon from my stash.

The 'fun' part of this project is a play on the words of the sentiment! I have cut a Tim Holtz weathered clock from 'Black Magic' core-dinations card and sanded it down. I have backed it with more DP and attached it to the card using a brad. The center section spins!!! 'Dizzy'!!

New Images at Rosey Hearts Digi Store

We have some fabulous new images for you today at Rosey Hearts and I hope you will love them as much as I do! I have coloured 'Updo' using coloured pencils only! Not a Promarker in sight! And I've gotten a bit inky for the background and done a stand alone art journal style A5 page after reading the April Craft Stamper magazine and being inspired.

I started with a sheet of Watercolour paper and used Dusty Concord Distress Paint in the corners through a cheap star stencil. After this was dry I have sprayed a selection of Dylusions - Vibrant Turquoise, Crushed Grape and Postbox Red. I inked some Dusty Concord DI through a circle stencil across the background and using black Archival stamped the Visible Image 'Retro Dots' stamp randomly without an acrylic block. To finish I've used the Visible Image 'Create With Your Soul' stamp for the main sentiment and attached the image.

I have another fabulous image to share with you today from Rosey Hearts. This is called Show Girl Sweetie and I have coloured her with Promarkers and some Black Derwent Coloursoft Pencil.

I have used a 7x7" card blank to show of this image with papers from an older Craftwork Cards kit called 'Elegant' with matching layered flowers. The sentiment is from Create with TLC and I've added some pearls and a paper straw to embellish.
