The third Day of the Dead Challenge at Simply Betty Stamps is to use the Sugar Skull Betty image with an Anything Goes Theme.
She's been coloured using Promarkers and mounted on black card. The DP is from Bo Bunny's Fright Delight pad and I've finished with purple rolled roses and lots of Star Dust Stickles glitter glue.

Feliz Dia De Los Muertos with Simply Betty - #2
The second challenge for Day of the Dead at Simply Betty Stamps is to use the new Dia De Los Muertos Betty Image and give her normal hair with some funky streaks! I've chosen to use the 'eyeless' version of the image and gone with blond and teal! It's coloured with Promarkers and some Peacock Feathers Distress Ink around the edges.
The DP is from Bo Bunny's Fright Delight papers and I've finished with a black ribbon and card candi.
Thanks for looking!

Feliz Dia De Los Muertos with Simply Betty - #1
Challenge one for Dia De Los Muertos with Simply Betty Stamps is to use her new image - Lenore Forevermore and turn her into a Sugar Skull type Day of the Dead image using bright colours.
I have coloured her using Promarkers and kept to the colour scheme over at Quoth The Raven, Nevermore Challenge - Black, Oranges, Purple and Green - and used papers from Graphic 45 for the card.
This will be entered in the current Quoth The Raven Challenge and the Dia De Los Muertos challenge at Simply Betty.
Thanks for looking!

SLS Lines Day of the Dead Inspiration for October
If you are looking for 31 Days of Halloween Day #28 - Click HERE!!!
Today is my turn to post Inspiration over at SLS Lines and I hope you will pop over and join us - the challenge this month is 'Pink' and you have plenty time to get your entries in!
For my project today I have chosen the Calavera Girl Day of the Dead image and coloured her with Promarkers. I am unsure what the DP is as it was part of a prize package. The view finder is a Sarah Hurley cut file from the Silhouette Studio. The rosette is Martha Stewart and the card is finished with some black pearlescent candi.

31 DOH Day #6 Day of the Dead with Dilly Beans
Firstly today, thank you so much for all the awesome comments! I'm loving hearing what you think and I am also loving hopping around the blogs too - there is so much inspiration, i've started a notebook!!!
*Answers to some questions!* Shoni asked if I made the rolled roses on Friday's project -They were a cut file done with the cameo, or a scalloped rolled rose - you just roll them up, glue it together et voila! I added some Wink of Stella for the shine. Also, the same roses are on today's project, just cut a little larger and the scalloped folded over to make a more authentic rose shape. xx
Welcome to Day #6 of 31 Days of Halloween! I hope you are enjoying the hop! You can find the blog roll in my side bar. Your first stop on the hop is Terra, you should have come to me from Lyneen, and your next stop is Rebecca. Remember to comment on all the blogs on the hop for a chance to win at the end of the month and keep in mind the Scavenger Hunt for daily prizes!
Today my inspiration is Day of the Dead and I have used a fabulous Sugar Skull Framed image from Dilly Beans. I have kept the colouring to greyscale using my Promarkers and filled the eye sockets with Black Soot Distress Glitter for sparkle! The DP is from Fancy Pants Designs 'Oct 31' paper pad and I used the Turquoise Promarker to edge the image. The web frame and rolled roses are cut on the Cameo.
