Good Morning! Today is the Smeared and Smudged Member Blog Hop and I am delighted to have had the time to join in this one. The theme is Alice in Wonderland and I have used the fabulous 'Alice Oh My' image from Rosey Hearts. I have coloured her with Promarkers and added Dusty Concord and Black DI to the background.

I have used a 7x7" purple card blank and my papers are from Graphic 45 An Eerie Tale and Steampunk Spells, with black card for layering. A memory box die was used for the top right corner. The sentiment is an AIW quote from Create with TLC. I have added some paper straws with ribbon and a pocket watch charm to finish.
A big thank you to Erin Sparkles Fairclough for introducing me to the paper straws... watch out for more!

Here's the Blog Roll, hop back to the start or take the next step to Susan!

Welcome to Day #19 of 31 Days of Halloween! I hope you are enjoying the hop! You can find the blog roll in my side bar. Your first stop on the hop is Terra, you should have come to me from Lyneen, and your next stop is Rebecca. Today I am using an image from Simply Betty Stamps that was a Facebook Fan Page freebie - but only for members of the group and you have to make a project by 8pm tonight! So I have coloured 'Bat Queen Betty' with Promarkers in the colour scheme for the latest 13 Days of Halloween challenge at Simply Betty Stamps Blog! For challenge #7 we have to use 'Traditional Halloween Colours' so Orange, Green, Purple and Black. I have mounted her on black card, the DP is Graphic 45 An Eerie Tale and the rosette is Martha Stewart. This is a 7x7" card - a new one for me, I normally work in 6x6!

For 31 Days of Halloween Day #6 Click Here!

It's time for the Day #2 challenge for Simply Betty Stamps 13 Days of Halloween! My banner from Day #1 was the only entry in the challenge but Betty has offered me 3 images for my participation!

For this challenge the theme is 'Spooky Gears, Cogs and Webs' in other words - Steampunk Halloween. I have used the Gina Gears Mermaid image and decided to Zombiefy her! She has a green glow about her, a missing eyeball and some scars.
I've coloured her with Promarkers and fussy cut her, mounting her on a Spellbinders Floral Oval die cut. This is the front panel of a Fat Page and I'm hoping to have the chance to create the back for it later this week. The DP is Graphic 45 Steampunk Spells. The web die is Cheery Lynn, the cog border is Joy Crafts and the small individual gears were cut using the Silhouette Cameo. I've finished with some small Halloween stickers from my stash and some clear Wink of Stella around the floral oval.

31 DOH Day #5 with Bugaboo Stamps

*edit* I was just reading my comments from the last few days and had a question from 'Dogsmom' about the black dots on the top right corner of yesterday's card. These are 'Card Candi' from Craftwork Cards and I use them a lot - they come in so many colours, they are cheap and cheerful, you apply them with 3d foam and can do so many things with them - I'm sure you'll be seeing them a lot this month!

Welcome to Day #5 of 31 Days of Halloween! I hope are enjoying the hop! You can find the blog roll in my side bar. Your first stop on the hop is Terra, you should have come to me from Lyneen, and your next stop is Rebecca. Remember to comment on all the blogs on the hop for a chance to win at the end of the month and keep in mind the Scavenger Hunt for daily prizes!

Today I am using an image from Bugaboo Stamps. I love the cute Skelekinz images in the store and this is the Skelekinz Present image. I have coloured with Promarkers and some lilac Stickles. The papers are a combination of Graphic 45 An Eerie Tale and Steampunk Spells - from the 6x6 paper pads. The die cuts are all cut from Silhouette store files on my Cameo.
I will enter this in the following challenges:

SLS Lines September Inspiration Post

This is my first Inspiration post for SLS Lines and today I am showing a cute little Goth Girl with Heart Ballooons. I have coloured her with Promarkers and for this post I decided to make an ATC instead of a card. This is a 2.5"x3.5" miniature artwork. I have used Graphic 45 Steampunk Spells paper for the background and heat embossed the edges with black embossing powder for a different edge. The sentiment is an embellishment from my Halloween stash!
I hope you like my project, it's featured on the SLS Lines Blog today too.
Thanks for joining us!

Today I've been putting some images that I coloured recently onto cards and getting ready for the 31Days of Halloween Blog Hop which starts on October 1st!
This post is just a quick card I put together for the Oddball Art Stamps Facebook Group's September challenge. I have used image 104 from their Etsy Shop and coloured her in Promarkers and pencils. I've edged the image with Peacock Feathers DI and mounted on black card. The orange DP is Graphic 45 An Eerie Tale and the moon paper is Graphic 45 Steampunk Spells. The bats, spider and web were cut on the cameo and the raven is a Tim Holtz Bigz die.

Inspired by a Song/Movie/Book at Love to Create

Let your favourite song or movie or book inspire you this week at Love to Create! I was so inspired I made two projects to show you today! We are sponsored by The Stamping Chef and I had the pleasure of working with the image 'Jolene' - I had a bit of a brain freeze when picking an image to work with for this challenge and when I saw 'Jolene' I immediately got the song of the same name stuck in my head so that's the inspiration for that card. However, on eventually getting that song out my head, I made a card using 'Bite Me' based on the Rob Zombie track 'Living Dead Girl' or indeed any of the GOOD vampire movies... none of these sparkly vampires for me!!!
So, this is 'Bite Me' which I've coloured with Promarkers to match the brand new Graphic 45 papers 'An Eerie Tale' - this is like to feature heavily in my projects the next few months leading up to Halloween - it's slowly becoming my new favourite after Steampunk Spells! I have used tags and elements from the papers to layer up and added some black die cuts to stand out against the purple pearlescent paper I've used for layering.

And this is Jolene, also coloured with Promarkers. I have used a Kraft card blank and some more Craftwork Cards embossed kraft card for layering. The papers are from Prima's 'Believe' paper pad and I have added some faux stitching - again I got myself confused with this card and thought I was making it for a challenge elsewhere... hence the faux stitching!

I will enter 'Bite Me' into the following challenges -
The Crafter's Cafe Challenge Blog - Lots of Layers
Eureka Stamps - Things With Wings (bats!)
Stamp and Create - Anything Goes
Stamplorations - Stamps and Die Cuts

I will enter 'Jolene' into the following challenges -
That Craft Place Challenge - Autumn
My Craft Creations - Anything Goes
Crafting from the Heart - #31 Anything Goes

Hey, I got there in the end and two cards for the price of one today! Hope you can join our challenge this week!
