Crafting By Designs Challenge Sponsored by Kenny K

Oh it's Wednesday again! And time for a new challenge at Crafting By Designs. This week the theme is 'Ribbon and/or Lace' and we have been sponsored by KennyK with some fabulous images - I was so excited to work with this artist!

I have used the 'Devilish Donna' image and kept her in my favourite grey's and purples - using Promarkers of course. The background papers are Craftwork Cards from a recent Goodybox. The damask was a pearlescent white with silver foiling but I have tinted it with Dusty Concord distress ink using a blender tool and added black soot around the edges. The strips of diamantes were clear but I've used the Aubergine Promarker to colour them.

I'm a bit addicted to the rose flourishes just now! I have added some roses, pins and a seambinding ribbon and bow to the side. I also used black pearlescent paper and a border punch to make a lace effect edge for the sides - so both ribbon and 'paper lace' on this card.

I haven't added a sentiment but will do this when I find a recipient for the card!
