12 Days of Creepmas Day 11 with Rick St Dennis

Welcome to the 12 Days of Creepmas! This is a blog hop run by the girls at Smeared Ink and you will find the Blog Roll on my side bar for the duration of the hop. If you have just arrived at me and want to see what it's all about visit Terra (the hostess) at More Smeared Ink and follow the rules to be in with a chance to win! If you are hopping, you should have arrived here from Black Dragon  and Teresa is your next stop!
Today I am sharing the reverse side of my Creepmas Fat Page for the Smeared and Smudged Swap for December. I have used the Creepmas Girl image from Rick St Dennis, coloured with Promarkers and fussy cut. I've used a technique that I learned during the 31 Days of Halloween blog hop from a post by Paper Whims. The technique involves spreading Dylusions inks on a craft sheet and placing the paper onto it to transfer the pattern. I've printed a sentiment using Word on the PC and my corner die is from Memory Box. I've finished with a black ribbon.

Merry Quirkmas to You from The East Wind

The East Wind Facebook Group have a new contest starting today with the theme 'Merry Quirkmas'! I have used the Meowy Christmas cat image with matching sentiment for my card. I've coloured her/him with Promarkers and added Star Dust stickles to his baubles.
My background is a combination of Rusty Hinge and Fired Brick Distress Inks and some Black Soot around the edges. The DP is Bo Bunny and coloured with Fired Brick - I've used a White Uniball Signo to add faux stitching. I then added more DI to the card base before mounting the layers and finishing with some Xmas Red Stickles for a sparkly ball of wool!

12 Days of Creepmas Day 10 With LOC, Smeared Ink and Delicious Darkness

Welcome to the 12 Days of Creepmas! This is a blog hop run by the girls at Smeared Ink and you will find the Blog Roll on my side bar for the duration of the hop. If you have just arrived at me and want to see what it's all about visit Terra (the hostess) at More Smeared Ink and follow the rules to be in with a chance to win! If you are hopping, you should have arrived here from Black Dragon  and Teresa is your next stop!

We have a bumper challenge for you starting today at Left Of Center! To give the girls some time off, we are running this one over two full weeks starting now and we have two sponsors for you!
First up we are paying homage to Delicious Doodles who will be closing their shop doors for the last time on December 31st and we wish Teri all the very best for the future. I have used the Evil Snowman image to create my card. The dp is very old Craftwork Cards, the corner is a memory box die and I've used a sentiment from Create with TLC to finish.
I will enter this card in the Final Hurrah Challenge at Delicious Darkness.

Our next sponsor is Smeared Ink... and purely by coincidence - some of the fabulously dark themed images from Delicious Doodles and Delicious Darkness will continue to be available on Smeared Ink! So we are celebrating that too!
I have created two cards - variations on a theme - which use the Smeared Ink image 'Watchful Eye'. I have coloured with Promarkers and black pencil. The DP on both cards is from Teresa Collins and I've used another sentiment from Create with TLC. The cards are finished with come candi.
I will enter my Watchful Eye cards in the Challenge #1 at Smudgy Antics.

Thanks for looking and I hope you'll have a fabulous Christmas and join in our challenge!

Crafting By Designs Embossing Challenge

It's time for a new challenge at Crafting by Designs and this week I've chosen an image from Bugaboo Stamps to use on my card. Now, the problem I have had, is that the theme is 'Embossing'... and I made a perfectly lovely Christmas card using the image... but with no embossing on it! So back to the drawing board!
This is the card here with no embossing on I'm thinking I will put this in the post to someone this week anyway. I have used the Scarlette Party image for my cards and coloured her with Promarkers. Here's a close up of the image on the embossed card!
I have used papers from Craftwork Cards and plain card for layering. The sentiments on both match the papers and I've used card candi and a die cut poinsettia as embellishments - all from Craftwork Cards. On my card here I have embossed a panel of silver metallic card with a holly embossing folder and added 'Garnet' liquid pearls for the berries.

If you are hopping, you should have arrived here from Black Dragon  and Teresa is your next stop!
We have a brand new challenge starting today at The East Wind so I am incorporating Creepmas and the Christmas challenge!

Today I have used the Lucy Loo 'Grinch' image from The East Wind - not too creepy but she is stealing a Christmas tree!! Not the best photo but you can see the glitter I've added in places. I've used papers from Craftwork Cards and matching die cut tickets which I have stamped with my sentiment 'Ho, Ho, NO!' I've finished with Liquid Pearls in 'Garnet' and several different Stickles.
I have used the new sketch over at Sketch N Stash Challenge blog and will enter this card there.
For my, less creepy, dt project I have used this sexy pressie image from the TEW Etsy shop and coloured her with Promarkers, adding Star Dust Stickles in places.
My DP is from Craftwork Cards Mistletoe 6x6 pad with matching sentiment and tickets. I have used 'Xmas Red' Stickles for more sparkle and finished with 'Garnet' Liquid Pearls for the holly berries and corners of the image.
We love the quirky at The East Wind and would love to see some of the Creepmas projects joining our Christmas challenge! Hope you can join us!
